About Me

Welcome to Love Live & Learn…

I am an 20 year-old student in England studying English Literature who goes by the name of Sophie.

I have a passion for:

{healthy living}

When I am not blogging I can be found reading; scribbling essays, random musings, ideas, stories, magazine articles and journal entries; cooking, baking, and eating; spending time with my wonderful friends and family; taking walks; curled up with my cat; watching Great British Bake-Off, River Cottage, and Location Location Location; wandering around the Oxfam bookshop, Waterstones and Heffers; taking close-ups of my food and other still life; going out to dance; drinking cocktails; eating out; having picnics…

This blog is my way of documenting my everyday life, my thoughts and ponderings and my ideas. I’m only just beginning so please excuse any messiness! This is the perfect oppurtunity for me to find another writing outlet and indulge in my passions.

I hope you enjoy it, don’t hesitate to stop and say hi!

  1. This looks great, I can’t wait to read more! I also got my degree in English Literature – blogging is such a fun way to keep writing after college!

  2. I’m so glad that you stopped by my blog so I could discover yours! (p.s. Sophie is the cutest name everrrr) Loving your blog so far. Can’t wait to read more about you!

  3. Hi Sophie!! Your summer sounds like a plan 🙂 I think it’s great that you love to write~I’m not a great writer, but I sure admire those who work at it as well as enjoy it. 😀 And welcome to our world! muahahahah

  4. Hi, you have a nice blog. But I just observe that you barely eat anything. Greens/salads for lunch? Lunch should ALSO include whole grains, protein, dairy, fats….come on!

    1. I can see why you might think that from last week but I wasn’t very well and had practically no appetite! If you look at older posts or yesterday’s post you’ll see that I eat plenty of dairy, whole grains and fats 😛 I agree that I could probably do with a little more protein but I do track it and it is usually roughly the amount recommended.
Also I pretty much never posts my snacks (which I have about twice a day) as they’re usually just grabbed quickly when I don’t have my camera to hand!

  5. Hooray for healthy living blogs! I stumbled onto one (and my own) about a year and a half ago. It’s an awesome journey but a total lifestyle change that makes you contemplate why you haven’t been living this way from day 1! Welcome to the blogging world and happy writings! Great pic by the way!

  6. River Cottage. 🙂 (My brother totally has a man-crush on Hugh!)

Thanks ever so much for your comment! I’m so happy to have found your blog in return. UK bloggers are such a treat to find and your blog is lovely! Plus you do English, so you are already perfect in my eyes. 😉

    1. Gotta love Hugh! 😉

You’re very welcome, I’m really happy that you came and checked out mine! Haha English is clearly the best subject 🙂 I hope you enjoy reading my blog!

  7. Just came across your blog and I really love it! I love that picture, it is gorgeous! So glad I came across your blog, seems we share many similar passions! Love it!
Look forward to reading more from you! 🙂
