This Much I Know

This much I know…

… You have to live your life in the present. Stop worrying so much about tomorrow. It’s good to plan but not to obsess. You’ll miss out on what’s right in front of you.

… Sometimes it’s best to just take a step back and relax. Learn to free yourself from the niggling details and just deal with the bigger picture.

… Relationships are more important than you might think. Cherish them. Build them. They’ll hold you up later when you need them most.

… Move. Exercise makes you happy. Cheesy but true. Even a walk to the park. It doesn’t have to be an exhausting workout. It just has to involve movement.

… Things aren’t always as they seem. Never judge a book by its cover. Prejudices and stereotypes will get you nowhere.

… Sometimes you just have to let go. Clinging on to guilt will only hurt you in the long run. Holding grudges never helped anyone.

… Grab ever opportunity you’re given. You never know when the next one will present itself.

… Aim over and above your expectations. Never give up hoping. It doesn’t hurt to try. Only you know what you are truly capable of.

… Practice really does make perfect. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try and try again.

… Stay positive. A positive mindset leads to positive action.

I hope you’re all having a great weekend!

I love that one. I walked with a girl from my dorm to get lunch today and it was great. Lots of sunshine and good food πŸ™‚
