A Very Tasty Day

Well I have a ton of food porn for you to enjoy today!

Starting off with my usual breakfast:

Weetabix, raw oats, raspberries, blueberries and a drizzle of honey.

My morning was spent tidying and organising my things as well as reading a few blogs ๐Ÿ™‚
Lunch couldn’t come soon enough!

A soft-boiled egg, salad leftover from last night, whole-wheat soldiers and a handful of my favourite “magic” crisps (sensations sweet chilli crisps). I have to say, pretty tasty!

This afternoon Tom came round and…helped me make my very own twitter page! (as you may have already figured out from my announcement yesterday)

We also watched a couple of episodes of Come Dine With Me. Does anybody else watch it? I think it’s hilarious and I love having a nose at other people’s houses. The food is often interesting/amusing too.

A delicious smoothie made from frozen banana, nectarine and blueberries. How have I not ever tried nectarine in a smoothie before? It’s seriously tasty!

Tom and I decided that we fancied going out for dinner so we had an impromptu date night :-). Bella Italia was the restaurant of choice.

I used to go there often with my family when I was little as it’s a really child-friendly place. They used to have menus for kids to colour in and you got a little pack of crayons. Not to mention that it has a very child-friendly menu – what child doesn’t like pasta?

Sparkling pomegranate and cranberry juice.

Of course, anyone who knows me at all well will know what I ordered!

…Pasta obviously ๐Ÿ˜›

I got whole-wheat pasta with aubergine and a cherry tomato sauce, yummy!

Pasta has always been one of my favourites, even when things were really bad, and it appears some things never change. I still love pasta dishes more than most other food!

Despite my love for pasta, the best bit of the meal was yet to come.

Normally when I go to the restaurant by the time I’ve finished my main course I’m way to full to have dessert. But this time I knew there was a certain pudding on the menu that I just couldn’t pass up…

This beauty:

Cookie dough lava cake.

We shared it as it’s a bit of a beast but ohmygosh this is seriously one of the most indulgent, delicious, chocolatey, dreamy desserts I’ve had in a very long time.

Ridiculously tasty!

Well I’m off, I hope you enjoyed re-living my food ๐Ÿ™‚
