It’s All About The Balance…

After I having a lazy day on Saturday what did I do yesterday?

Get chicken nuggets and chips.

I know, I know. I’m supposed to be a healthy-living blogger and this weekend is hardly a testament to that. But somehow, I can’t bring myself to care!

It’s been weeks since I indulged in junk food like that.

So judge me all ya want!

(I know you’re just jealous really ;-))

I did balance it out with raspberries for dessert though, that’s got to count for something!

It doesn’t, you say?
Oh well.

Today’s the beginning of a new week and with my workout plan already made, I know it’s going to be a good one!

Brioche topped with butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon with a side of blueberries. Yummy.

Today’s plan is to go into town to meet some friends for coffee. I’ve also got to get my workout done so that I can write it up for all of you!

Hope you all have a good start to the week πŸ™‚

  1. Indulge all you want, its good to eat what you crave sometimes πŸ™‚ Being healthy all the time isn’t realistic and just like the title of your post ‘it’s all about the balance’.
I haven’t had brioche in ages. Blueberries are a nice accompaniment!

  2. Moderation and indulgence is a part of life, and I am finally understanding that! Balance truly is the hey to happiness and living a life that is not full of restriction… must get this through my sometimes thick head haha

  3. I don’t often eat savoury “junk” food – I’m just not that into it, even when I was at my heaviest. Chocolate and cake on the other hand …
The brioche is more my thing – it looks gorgeous, but I don’t think that I could stop at one slice!
