What I Ate Wednesday no.4

It’s that time of the week again: the What I Ate Wednesday party hosted by the fabulous blogger Jenn!

Today was another work day so up early to make, eat and photograph breakfast.

As normal – weetabix (two this time) topped with blueberries and cinnamon.

I know that a lot of “healthy-living experts” would say that having practically the same breakfast day in, day out is unhealthy but I love the stuff so I really don’t care.

I made my lunch last night (later than planned) and added my snacks this morning when I got my breakfast together.

From left to right: two apricots, last nights dinner (minus the topping) mixed with a handful of pasta, and finally some of the delicious blueberry banana bread. Not bad for a packed lunch!

Work was fun but tiring today and I came back with a bit of a headache. I remedied this by eating my second slice of the bread whilst watching Relocation Relocation with my mum 🙂

I’ve watched nearly every episode and I have a bit of a crush on Kirsty and Phil to be honest :-P. It’s not really a program aimed at my age group but I’ve never been a typical teenager!

As I knew today was WIAW I thought it would be appropriate to cook dinner myself (not to mention that my poor Maman has a horrible earache and so I wanted to help!).

I made roasted veggies and chickpeas served with spicy couscous.

And the meal was finished off my THIRD slice of the blueberry banana bread served with more greek yogurt and blueberries. Yummy!

Tomorrow I’m off for a meal out with a couple of friends tomorrow so expect a recap in the evening 🙂

  1. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having the same breakfast everyday…just eat what you feel like!
Blueberry & Banana bread yum, I’m thinking ill try out this recipe soonish 🙂

  2. I could easily eat a yogurt mess and a banana with peanut butter for breakfast every single day. I haven’t had that in a while since it’s the summer, but during the school year — all the time. That blueberry banana bread sounds really good! What a delicious combo. I might just have to make that.

    1. I’m with you on account of eating the same thing during the school year, sometimes you’re just to busy to dream up and cook exciting breakfasts!
      You should, it’s really delicious!
